  Very friendly and welcoming church. If you are from out of town and want to attend a church where you will feel right at home the moment you walk in the door... this is the church for you! :-)

  Very friendly church. Took my grandkids to children's church and they loved it. Secure for them, too, with wearing a bar coded name tag that had to be scanned when we got them to go home. Seems like lots of activities for the kids and all other ages. Will be going back.

  I've been attending this church for about 3 years, and I absolutely love this church! When you walk in for the first time, you are immediately greeted by friendly people who can guide you through the building and answer any questions you may have. Even though there can be up to 1000 people on any given Sunday, the staff makes sure you don't just blend into the crowd; all are made to feel welcome.The pastors are very knowledgeable in the Bible and theology, and they're not afraid to approach difficult questions. The music is very vibrant and genuine across all three services (traditional at 8:15, contemporary at 9:30, and Gaither-style southern gospel at 11:30) and all are free to worship as the Spirit calls. The preaching is very biblically-centered (we are going through the book of Mark as of 6/17) and applicable to daily life; you can really see the passion for Christ come through in the sermons. Overall a great place to come and worship God, I highly recommend visiting!

  We've been attending this church since moving into the area almost 5 years ago. We love it! The people are friendly and the preaching is solid! I love that our pastor isn't afraid to speak the truth in love. Scripture is the final authority and the Word is preached every week. We have 3 children. The Children's Ministry is fantastic every week and our summer VBS is second to none! We are part of an amazing small group on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Our small group challenges us to dig deeper into Scripture, gives us fellowship, and is a help to our family in our everyday lives. We did not grow up here, so we don't have any blood relatives anywhere remotely close. However, our church family has been there to fulfill that role for us--from helping us move, to visiting us while our daughter was in the hospital, to just hanging out on a Friday night. I'm so glad to be part of East Richland Friends Church!
